  • HOW TO USE

    1. The cap seals the nozzle plate when the head parks, so the nozzles stay wet and do not dry out. It also seats during cleaning cycles.
    2. Keep the cap lip clean - lay a soaked lint-free wipe over it for a few minutes, then wipe gently. Do not scrub, the rubber is delicate.
    3. To replace: power down, remove the old top and fit the new one so the seal just meets the nozzle plate, centred and square.
    4. Run a nozzle check and confirm the head holds overnight without drying.

    Replace it when you see:

    • The rubber seal is hard, cracked or does not spring back
    • The head dries out or loses nozzles overnight despite being capped
    • Cleaning cycles no longer improve the nozzle check
    • Crusty dried ink building up around the station
